Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all data flow by developing processes that verify, standardize, and scale data input and transformation and storage.
  • Work with clients’ engineers to automate recurring ETL and reporting jobs.
  • Work closely with the Data Analysts as well as with our customer-facing Dedicated Advisors to design and implement business requirements and develop processes necessary to provide visibility into the data via our data warehouse provisions and reporting infrastructure.
  • Work closely with the front-end developers to ensure data that is brought in and managed is clean, accurate, available and complete.
  • Identify data-related issues or inconsistencies. Produce actionable recommendations that address known problems and then implement solutions, such as developing automated quality control scripts.
  • Consume 3rd party API data to enhance data integrity.
  • Maintain data flows into BI tools.
  • Perform additional team responsibilities as necessary, such as contributing to development of the data warehouse and curating data for the Data Science division.
  • Communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to diverse stakeholders.

Required skills:

  • You have a BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have enterprise-class software development experience and understand what it means to support a SaaS product.
  • You take personal responsibility for the quality of your work and believe that your work is a reflection of yourself and the team.
  • You develop software that lasts, and is not replaced in the next refactoring cycle.
  • You know and follow accepted Software Design Patterns and are familiar with Enterprise Integration Patterns.
  • You love data and dream of uncovering insights in large datasets.
  • You have worked with a variety of data environments including both SQL and NoSQL and are able to describe when to use a particular approach.
  • You have hands on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem including Hive and Spark.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to pick up any language – we currently use Javascript and Python but we highly value the ability to learn and adapt quickly. If your core language is Java, Erlang, etc., tell us about why you like it.
  • You meet your commitments and believe in delivering on time, and can manage expectations and priorities effectively when unexpected issues arise.

Key responsibilities:

The Associate Analyst/Data Visualization Analyst will join CareJourney’s Product Development Team. S/he has experience with Tableau or similar tool, and loves using data to solve problems. S/he will apply analytical techniques and utilize visual analytics tools to assess, cleanse, normalize, and analyze data to present findings. S/he has a passion for problem solving and a desire to make an impact and connect with stakeholders.

  • Work with product team members to determine new features and enhancements
  • Design and construct reports/dashboards using Tableau
  •  Identify data elements for each report, working with the engineering team to make the data available to the reporting platform and writing all SQL to acquire and access data within Tableau
  • Optimize queries and database tables to increase speed online
  • Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives
  • Create or update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams and/or design documents

Required skills:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 0-3 years of experience working with analytical techniques, relational databases, data modelling, and data visualization
  • Experience in building data visualization and dashboards
  • Strong experience using analytic and visualization software, such as Tableau, Qlikview, FusionCharts, Highcharts, Datawrapper or Sissense to process, analyze, and produce report information from multiple sources
  • Ability to assess and understand data sources, then identify and mitigate issues to improve the quality of the data so that it can be used for quantitative and qualitative analytics
  • Experience in structured and unstructured data analysis, comprehensive link analysis, trend analysis, and visual analysis, with experience developing and applying SQL
  • Skilled at deriving meaningful and actionable recommendations from analytical work products to improve business processes
  • Ability to communicate analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders through clear, innovative visualizations and infographics and concise language
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)

Desired skills:

  • BS/BA degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences)
  • Experience supporting activities in data modeling and development of modern methods and best practices to design and/or implement risk assessment methodologies
  • Significant experience in analytic and statistical analysis

Key responsibilities:

The Data Visualization Expert will join CareJourney’s Product Development Team. S/he will be responsible for maintaining—as well as designing and implementing improvements to—CareJourney’s population health analytic tool, Insights Online, created using Tableau.

  • Work with product team members to determine new features and enhancements
  • Design and construct reports/dashboards using Tableau
  • Identify data elements for each report, working with the engineering team to make the data available to the reporting platform and writing all SQL to acquire and access data within Tableau
  • Optimize queries and database tables to increase speed online
  • Serve as a technical lead for an Agile team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies
  • Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives
  • Create or update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams and/or design documents

Required skills:

  • At least one year of Tableau development
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in creating and managing Tableau Sites
  • Proficiency creating visualizations with Tableau
  • Intermediate proficiency in coding SQL and one higher-level language like Python or Java
  • Intermediate proficiency in unit testing
  • Ability to visualize dashboards and reports while working with large datasets
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated; comfortable working independently under general direction

Desired skills:

  • BS/BA degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences)
  • Experience compiling and analyzing healthcare data
  • Experience creating data models
  • Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends and applied knowledge of measurement and statistics

The Senior Data Analyst/Data Analyst – Product will participate in creating data table enrichments, analyzing data, developing visualizations, and supporting the development and deployment of CareJourney’s suite of insights, products, and services to its client-base.

  • Design and construct data tables, schemas and visualizations
  • Document data flow through our patient data warehouse
  • Perform data analysis on clients’ population health performance
  • Perform data validation tests to ensure quality
  • Assist in the delivery of completed work to client POCs
  • Perform additional team responsibilities as necessary

Required skills:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Deep understanding of analytics and data wrangling
  • Database querying experience – SQL strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of database principles, processes, technologies and tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated; comfortable working independently under general direction

Desired skills:

  • BS/BA degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences)
